This is a series of pictures from Le Grand Ourse Restaurant on Mont Chery in Les Gets (French Alps).

For the best part of the ‘noughties, it was my pleasure to play the Les Gets Blues Festival, and we usually played the Apres -Ski and Night gigs in various clubs and Bars in the Les Gets and Morzine area, but the Grand Ourse was different. It was a luchtime gig half way up a mountain, and as such afforded some of the most spectacular views in the world. If you have to work for living, play music, and if you have to play music, play it somewhere like this……
